KNN TV Live (Kurdish News Network) was founded in 2008 as a subsidiary of Wusha Corporation, an independent Kurdish media group, and first went on the air on December 31, 2008.
KNN was found as an independent channel affiliated with Wusha Cooperation for Kurdish Independent media, but after the Goran Conference in 2014, the media channels of the Goran Movement were consolidated into a single organ of the Goran Movement (KNN tv Channel, Gorran Radio). . , Gorran website and Sbeiy website and KNNC.
KNN is primarily a Kurdish-language channel; Its main task is local and international current affairs. However, KNN TV offers comprehensive reports on economy, politics, sports, culture, documentaries and the arts. Headquartered in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Slemani, Grdi Zargata, the channel’s offices employ more than 300 journalists and reporters across the region.
